Sorry to hear that you are passing the reins but it is a well trained and managed horse and I hope that some wise soul will step in. What a wonderful opportunity you created over the past 10 years for our children and young entrepreneurs. Both of our children have been vendors and enjoyed huge success, skills and confidence while designing, creating, marketing and selling their wares. Thank you to both of you for the commitment to this project and ultimately to the children of the Whistler community.

What difficult shoes to fill. My hope is that someone will indeed share the same passion for the involvement of children and youth in the arts by taking on this program. My two children have been involved for the past 6 years and they have tried so many different artistic skills that they never would have if it were not for this venture. My daughter has her own jewelry line evolve to the point where she is selling the product in stores. It all started with Bratz Biz. I know it was an immense work load to run this program but so many young people have learned so much. Ten years of youth learning an art but also about commitment, business sense, and the interpersonal skills necessary to produce and sell a product. What a precious gift to the community from both Carmen and Susan!
Words can not adequately express how thankful I am to Carmen and Susan for their countless hours and the love of the process that was shared with all.

Susan and Carmen, well done, you are two amazing women who blessed our community with your endless enthusiasm and dedication to the young artisans of Whistler.

Having been a volunteer parent and working with both of you, the successors will appreciate your incredible organization and community involvement that you have built over the past decade.

Our daughter Rebekah grew tremendously as a jewellery artist over those 6 years, the skills she learnt were invaluable and has placed her years ahead of other jewellery artists in her field. Winning “Best Jewellery Design-Accessories” for BC in 2013, and now published in magazines and supporting herself through “Bekah -Anne.com ” THANK YOU Ladies, you have been a positive and wonderful influence in our lives!

This is the greatest organization ever. Two of my four sons were involved I think my oldest Nicolas sold Christmas cards that he had made, and my youngest Todd sold Todd’s awesome cookies and by watching him I was able to learn some marketing skills that I still use to this day.

The co-founders Susan and Carmen are outstanding pillars of our community and in my opinion they should have been voted Whistler Citizens of the Year ages ago.
